We welcome Children at Cliff House Cottages

No 2 is the most popular one for the smaller family with 1 or 2 young children

No 4 is ideal for one adult with 1 child.

The cottages are really close to the harbour and beaches so are an ideal base for these and exploring the historic castles and jumping on a boat at the harbour for a trip to visit the Farne Islands to see Puffins (in May-July) Grey Seals year round and other bird life.  In the village we have the Bunkhouse offering soft play facilities (must be accompanied by an adult), crazy golf, then there's ice cream, fish n' chips and amusement arcades. 

As the cottages only have shower rooms, we can provide a baby bath if required. A travel cot, high chair and stair gate can also be booked free of charge.

Dogs are also welcome in all the Cliff House Cottages ...

but a bit of K9 etiquette is expected

Firstly and most important - Whilst you pooches are really welcome to Cliff House Cottages you aren’t allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms.

That aside tho, these are great cottages to stay in, they are cosy with easily maintained flooring in the kitchen/living areas,  a tap outside for washing - and towels  for drying off, and cliff top walk only a few yards away. All our beaches are dog friendly, we’d like to keep it that way so please have your human pick up after you both in the courtyard, the surrounding area and on the beaches.

K9 companions are not allowed in the cottages by themselves unless caged and even then persistent barkers will be asked to accompany their human friends.

No 3 Cottage can only accommodate 1 medium or 2 small dogs and in Nos. 2, 4, & 6 we accommodate a  maximum of 2 large or 3 small dogs (large = labrador, medium = border collie/springer, small = Cavallier/Westie or smaller).
